Two rooms on two coasts.

Same kitchen philosophy, two different views of the water. Pick your coast.

Mousehole, Cornwall — Landed at the quay, cooked over fire, forty paces from the boats.

Mousehole, Cornwall

Our first room, set in a stone pilchard works above Mousehole harbour. Twenty-eight covers, an open fire at the pass, and a window that frames the boats we buy from each morning. The kind of room you want to be in when the weather turns.

Salcombe, Devon — The estuary room — oysters on ice, a cellar built for the long lunch.

Salcombe, Devon

Our estuary room, three doors up from the ferry steps in Salcombe. Lighter and higher than Mousehole, built around a raw bar and a cellar that runs deep in coastal whites. Long lunches are encouraged here; the light off the water does half the work.
